Financial guidance for clergy households, from inside one.
I spent 15 years as a minister in congregational ministry. I'm also a minister's spouse, which means I've experienced this from both sides of the pulpit. For the last 7 years I've worked in denominational benefits and wellness grants.
My sense of call is to advocate for the wellbeing of pastors - especially the ones who feel isolated, or like they're figuring it out on their own.
I believe every clergyperson, whatever their tradition, should have their needs met, have access to the resources that keep a person well, and get the support it takes to thrive. Not just to survive. To actually thrive.
